To get a better picture of agriculture in Kosovo to-day, M² -Magazine spoke to Dr Behlul Behluli who works in the Agriculture and Veterinary Faculty at the University in Pristina. Dr Behluli is responsible for work and advice on cattle reproduction and udder health.
Kosovo in southeastern Europe gained independence in 2008. With a population of almost 2 millions and an estimated half of its people under 30 years of age the prospects for economic development are good. Agriculture will expand. The land in Kosovo is fertile and very suitable for cropping and grass production.
