The 2019 International Dairy Federation Mastitis conference takes place from 14 to 16 May 2019 in Denmark with a technical tour scheduled for 17 May. The venue is the ultra-modern DGI-byen centre right in the middle of Copenhagen.
The conference, part of an IDF program, will be hosted by SEGES, the national advisory centre in Denmark. SEGES provides specialist advisory services, software for the agricultural industry and manages a number of research and service functions for the thirty farmer-owned advisory companies throughout Denmark.
The IDF Mastitis conference will bring together experts from around the world, with the knowledge and a passion for udder health and milk quality. The conference provides a first class opportunity to network and exchange ideas with professionals who have a deep interest in milk.
The program will feature a two-day scientific program, providing the most up-to-date knowledge in the fields of mastitis, diagnostics, food safety, zoonoses, mastitis control programs in both cows and small ruminants and for parlour, barn and robotic milking systems.
The conference is aimed at professionals in academia, research, general veterinary practice, state agencies and leading animal scientists working in the dairy industry.
The local organising committee is under the chairmanship of Jaap Boes with Morten Dam Rasmussen as chair of the scientific committee. Registration is scheduled to open mid-December 2018.
