How it all started
By the time I started my university studies, I had already forgotten why I wanted to become a vet. I had always wanted to be one, for as long as I could remember, but the original motivation had faded over time. What I do remember clearly is why I chose farm animal medicine: James Herriot. After reading his books, it was obvious to me that I wanted to do that job. But life had other plans.
